Anne Nitzpan merges colors and materials into a temporary equilibrium: the sugar preserves the salmiak pastilles, but in this cast state and attached to the wall, it is extremely fragile.

Salmiak pastilles are her grandfathers favorite candies. In this work they are used as a mediator, as a bridge to their shared past and as a link between generations.
The fragility of this state is emphasized by aluminium handprints, which leave a physical trace while supporting the work.
